Shona's Style
Gymnastike interviewed Aussie freshman Shona Morgan after she helped Stanford to a win at the IGI Chicago Style competition over the weekend.

On another note, I am so fed up with GA's utter lack of professionalism. I just logged onto their site to see this headline:

Even primary school students do not make grammatical errors as blatant as that. It makes them look completely unreliable and incompetent. Sad thing is, nobody there ever seems to pick up on these errors and correct them either.
Having spent a lot of time on the BG and USAG sites it isn't hard to tell that GA doesn't exactly pride itself on excellence....
Vwhpc site has Zoe and Mez going to Aus v GBR and gym nix! I wonder who else is going? Anyone know?

How many gymnasts per team for AUS v GBR and Gymnix? Does anyone know?
Looks like they are spreading things around. I would expect they will try and give as many girls some comp experience when they are ready to go. Emily, Larisa,GW etc. don't really need the experience at the moment.
I think Georgia Wheeler sorely needs the experience. Larrissa too, although not as much as GW
GW has had a lot of chances already. Personally, I would like to see Emma Collister and Angela Donald getting something. It's been a while for both of them to compete at all.
for those who care - -the NSW squads are out and Jazminne Casis and Tiahn Pesterey both moved to Westfields.
In my opinion those girls should have gone to Epping, who has Westfields produced in the last little while?
So will Mary Anne just be doing Bars? Is Natalia or anyone else going to GB v AUS and Gymnix or is it just 3 gymnasts?
If they are only sending three girls, they will all do AA. No point in entering a team otherwise.
Just to let everyone know -- Brianne Allen's BB from the Nadia Comaneci invite is available on the IG Facebook site. 1 fall, but building to a good program by the look of it!
According to the VIS site Georgia Wheeler and Amelia McGrath are also going to Manchester/Montreal
so then assuming early reports were correct:

probably 1 more girl to make a team of 6.
Wild Rose site says we're sending 5 girls. So:

So who will be the lucky last 2? Pretty please Simpson and Donald!
(although it seems unlikely to be Donald since the VIS site would have mentioned her if she was going-is she injured?)
It would be logical to send a WAIS girl (Simpson or Little) with the Manchester/Montreal because then you have 3 programs each with 2 girls, no need to bring extra personnel.
Maybe the 5th member for Wild Rose will be Joura, then there will be 3 VWHPC and 2 QAS on that trip.

i read somewhere that angela donald is having foot surgery
I don't think GRB will be going.I thought she was on crutches after hurting her knee at camp.
Wild Rose is a Junior/Senior Comp.

I would guess that maybe Katie will replace Georgia Rose and that there will be one senior team of three and a junior pair.

yes so that makes sense - The teams are 3 up best 2 scores count so they will probably take Greeley, Exum, Wurth and then Nedov and either Godwin or Eade to compete for juniors.
can anyone tell me the significance of the different leotards the girls in VWHPS wear? just wondering why zoe and mary anne are wearing different leotards if theyre both in senior
The black one is the VWHPC leotard, the green one is the VIS leotard.
Is Ntalia Injured? I thought after
Paris she would be a sure pick.
Has the team for Wild Rose been announced? or are people just guessing who is in the team.
Selected girls have received letters from GA.
