  1. For anyone who is interested, the Vic Trial 1 work order is up. Ashleigh, Naomi and Zoe are all registered to compete. No Georgia Rose, No Britt, she must be injured? No Fiona, but we know she is injured already.

  2. Unless Georgia Rose is aiming for Trial 2, seeing as Trial 1 is so close to Pacific Rim.

  3. And could be wrong but can the int girls use Vics as a qualifying event too? You can't for national stream but think the International girls can.

  4. I believe that yes the Internationals can use Vics as a trial if they need to. HPC have updated their website with a gorgeous photo of Ash on the main page and some photos from the invitational.

  5. Does anyone know if the IDP 10 rules have changed? Are gymnasts no longer allowed to back twist on floor? Are these changes listed on the web anywhere?

  6. Not sure if the IDP10 rules have changed but the National squad criteria outlines the requirements for IDP10 with the National Direction guideline http://www.gymnastics.org.au/site/gymnastics/national/downloads/gymsports/wag/pdf/Selection%20Policy/Part%20B%202010%20WAG%20National%20Squad%20Camps%20Criteria%20FINAL%20with%20Team%20Future%20FINAL%2016%20Dec%202009.pdf

  10. Trial 1 May 8th - Int 6-Snr, Nat 8-10, Nat 7, May 9th Nat 6 LAT all at VWHPC (times on GV website Events)

Trial 2 May 22 (and possibly 23 but international should be on the 22nd) again at VWPHC.

Parents/public/etc have always been allowed to attend national stream Vic trials (and assume same for int?).

  17. It IS a lovely shot; it appears to be one from her Age newspaper feature in 2008 (the "Wing and a Prayer" profile piece, though the pic accompanying that had her looking at the camera).

    Welcome back, Ash!

  18. Yay Ash! Can't wait to see her back out there!

  19. Her beam DV was 5.9 at the VWHPC meet, which is pretty good under this code.

  20. I am very excited about Ashleigh coming back! She was always a bit nervy before, but I have a feeling we might see a more confident, strong, mature gymnast now. She looks fantastic!

  21. Also, I have worked out that if Ashleigh gets her switch ring back to be creditable, she will have 6.1 (I think). That is very competitive, possibly even for event finals.
