The women's team is slated for announcement today (Monday 19th) though I have no idea what time. I'm only around until 2:45 so if you don't see an update before then... the news has been broken and I wasn't around to hear it.
Am I hallucinating that Rizzo was injured just a little while back and was in doubt? Good news if he has come through ok.
ReplyDeleteYou are not hallucinating at all!

Good on Phil, hope he can be fit and well enough to compete.
Anyone know how they announce the team to the girls? Do they get a phone call, or do they just have to look it up online?
ReplyDeleteTomorrow I hope we also find out who made the worlds training squad of 12 and the new Olympic squads/national teams.
ReplyDeleteHave they announces a training squad for the boys for worlds?
ReplyDeleteCongrats boys -- especially Sellathurai! I love his work.
ReplyDeleteGo Aussies!
where's the official announcement??
ReplyDeleteActually it is the 4th games for Phil
ReplyDeleteSo when are they planning on announcing the WAG COM Games Team? Is there any documentation that says how and when? And what about the squads and the 12 person Worlds camp?
ReplyDeleteThe announcement is supposed to be today. 12 member Worlds Squad should also be announced at the same time.
ReplyDeleteThis is going by the Training Camp Calendar that is listed under Technical Information on the GA website
Do we know what time today and how?
ReplyDeleteno info yet?
ReplyDeleteAnon 9:14, announcements for previous teams (most recently Beijing and PacRim) have been done after a squad training camp and done in front of all attendees.
ReplyDeleteI am unsure how this one will pan out seeing as there wasn't a camp this weekend. Possibly a phone call to each successful team member, then a public listing of the team?
So perhaps we will not find out today unless a member lets us know!
ReplyDeleteMez, where did you find the boys team announcement?
A source texted me. Am surprised nothing's been put up yet.
ReplyDeleteThe suspense is killing me! >.<
I'm with you there.
ReplyDeleteCan't imagine what it is like for the girls waiting to hear, must be the most nerve racking experience ever.
Have heard from source that ash brennan has made the team but not sure on others...
ReplyDeleteAccording to Couch Gymnast Georgia Wheeler has been named 2nd reserve
ReplyDeleteThat's a fabulous MAG team - I'm really happy with that.
ReplyDeleteCongrats guys...
ReplyDeleteI was there when they announced MG team...
GO AUSSIES.
