Any news on skills? I wish we could get a real idea of how the girls are looking.
It is going to be such an interesting fight for the last spot (or possibly event the last 2) for worlds.
Could Simpson go as a bar/beam specialist? (how is her difficulty?) Could Budack or Dennis get on with a competitive vault? Could Larrissa shake off her demons and hit bars? Will Wheeler be able to prove she should be there despite only having a layout yurchenko?
I hope Georgia Simpson can make the team for Worlds. Like Mary-Ann injuries have plagued her over the last couple of years, she has worked so hard to overcome them, but is never mentioned.
Well if she had a decent bars she could very well make it - but they will need to be better than Wheeler's. Hopefully someone will know her approximate difficulty levels and can enlighten us. Even if she got reserve it would be cool for her to get to go.
The draws for Rotterdam are up at Gymnastics Australia. Just a query... does the host nation always compete last or was this random ending up in the last sub-division?
Which coaches have been named for the Comm Games?
ReplyDeletePeggy, John and Nikolai
