Awww, nice suprise in my Twitter feed just now: a short interview with Luke Wiwatowski over at International Gymnast!

"On a side note, high bar will also be a focus for me, I have a potential 7.0 start score and I hope to be competitive on that apparatus at the world championships."

    That is AWESOME!!!! Got to spend some time with most of the senior team whilst at Nationals. They are a great bunch. Always offering support to each other and to the juniors coming up behind them. And doesn't Luke look great in QLD colours :)

    Yeah!! All the guys are great,fantastic sense of humor to.Speaking of colours,Australian greens are the best for Luke, match his eyes.

    I saw Luke at Vic States, and was so impressed! His form really stands out on the high bar. I hope he achieves all he is capable of at Worlds.

    In short, Peggy mentions Monckton, Mitchell, Simpson, Donald and Bonora as world team chances.

    No mention of Lorenzin :( Does anyone know if she will be trialling for worlds?

    Theoretically yes she is. It is supposed to be 9- 13 years but maybe they didn't have the numbers because the whole of the 2016 cycle were there (as well as the first group of 2020's). I thought the 97 girls wouldn't be there but definitely some were.

    Celeste was probably there because all of the otehr kids she trains with were probably invited and are IDP. Maybe they didn't want to send her back on the plane on her own... just speculating but it seems logical. And it doesn't hurt anyone for her to be there.
