Gymnastics NSW have some great videos up at their youtube channel. These include montages of their recently-crowned state champions, and footage of their state gymsport teams training for Nationals.
Not to be outdone, Gymnastics Victoria have put up hi-res video of highlights from their recent state championships. Here is part one. And here, they get to have a bit of a giggle in between training. GVTV is pretty smashing, can't wait to see more!

ReplyDeleteNo idea in IDP 6 but Victoria should take team gold easily as well as at least 2 AA medals. 3rd medal (probably bronze) to a WA Gymnast.

ReplyDeleteYes i have seen that but it is focussing on junior and senior. Anyway some people may prefer to have the conversation here - starting with the person who asked the question. IMO similar conversations can take place in both spaces without any problem.

ReplyDeleteDefinitely is a brave word to use in gymnastics! I notice she averaged over 56 each day at states but did not compete at trial 2 and got around 45 at the first trial - big improvement in a short time for sure.
ReplyDeleteThere are at least 6 girls in Victoria alone who are scoring in that vicinity so it looks like IDP 6 will have the deepest field of any IDP Level. Good luck to all the girls.

ReplyDeleteNo predictions but a shout out to Gabe Sullivan from WA who is back competing this year in level 9 U16. Not sure if he had a year off or was injured but he is a great kid and a terrific gymnast so I hope he does well.
