2011 Massilia: Videos!

Thanks to Couch Gymnast for pointing out the hard-working French fans who captured Aussie routines (Chung, Wheeler and Brown at least) in Marseille.

Merci a tous!

Check them out here. The highlights for me personally are Nikki's rocked tumbling lines on floor (mistake on the final one aside... she FLOATS them beautifully and nails the landings) and Georgia Rose's crisp bars set.

    I am not representing Australia in Elite Gymnastics.
    Yes, she is returning from injury but she looks
    unfit and perhaps not ready for comps yet.

    Still waiting to see the results. The scores
    will tell a lot. I question also why they send girls
    who don't look ready. Wouldn't they be better
    staying at home working on fitness and their program.
    I don't think it is goof for their confidence to compete
    when they are obviously not up to their usual standard.

    Group A: Gymaroos (1); Castle Hill (1); Westfields (2); Gymjets (1);
    Group B: VHPC (5)
    Group C: Waverley (4); WAIS (1)
    Group D: Epping (4); QAS (1)

    Gymaroos is Amelia James
    I would assume VWHPC have brought Britt, Maddy, Alex not sure who else. Castle Hill Celeste? Epping has four?

    Don't forget a lot of the top girls are busy overseas: Ash, Georgias W and RB, Lauren, Emily, Larissa, Mez..

    MLC don't have many seniors.
    Isn't it only Amelia and Stella?

    Amelia has been injured for ages, not sure about Stella

    is GRB injured?Her floor didn't look as dynamic as usual. Her tumbles looked watered down. No double pike? Her feet are also heavily strapped. Don't wear em out yet Peggy! She still did well.

    I agree, the first line looked awesome! I was thinking 'oh she's learnt how to stay in the floor'.

    ...then she did her second line. But she's just raw power that girl.

    Who's competing at national clubs today? Is it the juniors? Who went there this year? I wish they had names up. Sounds like not many gymnasts this year for the competition.
