Gymnastics NSW have some great videos up at their youtube channel. These include montages of their recently-crowned state champions, and footage of their state gymsport teams training for Nationals.
Not to be outdone, Gymnastics Victoria have put up hi-res video of highlights from their recent state championships. Here is part one. And here, they get to have a bit of a giggle in between training. GVTV is pretty smashing, can't wait to see more!
There are two videos I've uncovered (beam, floor) from the recent WAIS Russia tour.
And, to finish, off, I do love a good montage. Here is one for rhythmic Olympian Janine Murray.

It has been very quiet here. Lets kick it off with a prediction on possible top 3 all arounders for Each IDP level!
Ok I'll have a go;
No idea in IDP 6 but Victoria should take team gold easily as well as at least 2 AA medals. 3rd medal (probably bronze) to a WA Gymnast.

Yes i have seen that but it is focussing on junior and senior. Anyway some people may prefer to have the conversation here - starting with the person who asked the question. IMO similar conversations can take place in both spaces without any problem.

I was the one who posted my predictions - it isn't personal - I just don't know much about the NSW girls - I hope they do well!

nadine araujo will definately place in IDP6.
Definitely is a brave word to use in gymnastics! I notice she averaged over 56 each day at states but did not compete at trial 2 and got around 45 at the first trial - big improvement in a short time for sure.
There are at least 6 girls in Victoria alone who are scoring in that vicinity so it looks like IDP 6 will have the deepest field of any IDP Level. Good luck to all the girls.

No predictions but a shout out to Gabe Sullivan from WA who is back competing this year in level 9 U16. Not sure if he had a year off or was injured but he is a great kid and a terrific gymnast so I hope he does well.
what's going on at epping? i heard the coaches are leaving after nationals?!?

looking back at all IDP state results only refering to IDP 6 (IDP 8 even more confusing)could someone confirm if the 1 point skill omission was ever used or applied. Says to be on final score but can't see any. Will it be applied at Nationals?
