Georgia Godwin has been removed from the Pacific Rim roster and replaced with Emily Whitehead - anyone know why?
I don't know why the change has been made but there is a photo up from today of her in a leo at QLD states.
Agree, the NSW State live stream was brilliant.
The final session last night in particular, the camera operators/control person were doing wonderful close in shots then panning out when needed.
Please, please, please Australian Gymnastics send them to Victorian State Championships particularly as the W.A. girls are coming over.
Thanks NSW Gymnastics, loved the coverage, felt almost there but my monthly download quota is mashed out!
If the equivalent is done for VIC, may need to increase the bandwidth, word of mouth will increase traffic :-)
the Live stream was amazing, grandparents in the UK could watch granddaughter competing WAG Level 7 Saturday and Sunday, they stayed up until 5 am in the morning UK time, they thought it was fantastic. Well done Gym NSW,
much appreciated.
Okay people, Georgia Godwin chose to pull out of Pac Rim due to injury. She only did bar routine with a fly away dismount due to the injury at States. . She did not do any other apparatus. Her coaches wanted her to heal injuries before Commonwealth Games Trials.
Good call. I hope she recovers quickly - really want her on the Commonwealth Games team.
I may have my Georgias muddled up - is Georgia Godwin the gymnast who injured herself quite badly on the floor? Had to be carried off...competition o/s or is that another Georgia? If so, anyone know how she is?
Gymnastics NSW should be applauded for initiating this. Coming from another State, it is nice to see someone doing it right!
Wrong Georgia!
