2014 Worlds: WAG AA Final

One girl, 5 feet 8 inches of balletic ballistics - tonight, Victorian's own Georgia Rose Brown will take on 23 of the world's best in the women's all-around final!

Follow along once again with Allana Slater live on Twitter or Facebook, and tune in for the livestream at 10:00pm AEDST. The start list is here, "Rosie" will kick off on floor.

Olivia and Larrissa have sent her some good luck wishes and will be joining Lauren Mitchell and Emma Nedov in the stands to cheer her on, while team and Victorian clubmate Maryanne Monckton teasted that Georgia will not be in a brand new leo design but one that to her is "lucky". CommGames team teal? Prelims purple? Time will tell!

GO G-RO GO!

Kinda hoping that Biles has a bit of a shocker tonight. Not in a bad way, but in a show-us-you're-human-and-can-eff-up kinda way? Bit boring otherwise.

Would love to see Musty or Lari snag the gold.

Georgia Rose Brown truly deserved the Longines Award for Elegance. Unfortunately she is lesser known and doesn't have the profile of gymnasts like Yao.

She did a great job but her floor tumbling was far too basic. Her second tumble was a front full twist. You are never ever going to be able to get close to the power gymnasts with that. "A front layout full" Really!!!

Very true re GRB tumbling she trains with some gymnasts that are known to us and she was carrying a number of injuries going into this competition. Sometimes watered down routines are required just to get by without running the risk of permenant injuy. I think given everything she has done a great job as stated and along with the other girls we really have the six pack. Well done girls.

In opening introductions she looked quite worried and sad (to me, at least). An injury might have been bothering her, I think she did actually fall on bars. Just hope she enjoys some much-needed rest time and uses the experience to boost her performance confidence for the future.

PS: Anon 10:06 Biles put up a GREAT showing on vault but couldn't topple Hong of Korea. It was a close battle, for minute there it looked as though she'd done it.
