Does anyone know what she is studying? Stanford has excellent academic programs and with the new recruits, the gym team looks awesome! Congrats to her on her decision- I hope her experience is fantastic and that more Aussies are encouraged to take up the opportunity if it arises!

What an amazing opportunity! I can understand why Shona wanted to go early and pulled out of the CWG team.
These opportunities may only come once in a life time and you have to make the most of them. Thats why I am happy for all girls that are selected
to GA teams, it is perhaps their once in a life time opportunity.

I;m so pleased Shona has taken up this opportunity. She is going to have the most amazing four years and I know I'd kill to be in her position! I can totally understand why she went early too - I wouldn't want to miss team retreat at Yosemite!

I can't wait to see her in action once the competitive season starts!

I am not sure what Shona is studying. I think in US universities the first yeat I think students study a wide variety of topics.
It is an amazing opportunity for Shona not only to compete NCAA but to attend one of the best universities in the US and probably in the world.
