Hopefully some of that can go to helping get our Snr gymnasts more International experience,ready for 2012.

Hopefully, but i think most of it will go to grass roots - it is participation money after all. The up side of that though is more participation means more girls in elite too, so stronger teams and programs in the future. Probably not going to make a difference until about 2020 or 2024 as 2016 probably has all the girls it's going to get already. More participation also means more people interested in the sport so more chance of coverage on TV etc. I don't see any of this money being used to send teams overseas. Hope I'm wrong though.

This money definitely will not be directed to elite. It is very specifically given for participation outcomes at the grass roots level only. GA did receive additional funding for elite levels earlier in the year however the money mentioned in that article is solely for participation.
