It's hard from NSW. No scholarships or incentives. Gymnastics NSW offer nothing. But these girls are good. Really good. Keep it up NSW.

Larrissa was invited to do her bars at app finals but it didnt count towards a medal.

Larrissa definitely did bars, she was announced and I saw her compete. Not sure why she's not in the results? Maybe she was 'verifying' because she didn't compete prelims (injury).

Rumour has it that Nikki Chung tore a ligament in her foot and is out of Olympic contention.

NSW IDP gymnasts have a disadvantage competing against all the institute gymnast from other states with their entourage of coaches and staff noticed on the competition floor and the services available to these gymnast. So WELL DONE TIAN and all the NSW IDP gymnasts!

Nikki Chung is out??? Oh NO!!!!

What can be done for NSW gymnasts? It would be lovely if there was the support for them that institutes give to gymnasts in other states.

There are some great young NSW gymnasts coming up through the ranks, and if Emma Nedov wasn't injured at the moment, she'd be in there right amongst the senior ranks - she was awarded a fabulous award yesterday!

Congratulations to all the NSW girls on your huge efforts to get where you get to, and to your coaches and parents.

What happened to all the juniors? Where are they all? I watched the comp & there wasn't much competition out there as last nationals.

Wow! Is that really true with NSW programs? What a shame,What's happening with all the other NSW gymnasts? Are they injured or did they quit? Are they going to lose Jazminne as well? I wonder what happened but I heard from the comp that she will not train at westfields anymore. It would be interesting where she would go.

It's very hard to succeed as a WG gymnast from NSW.
Gymnastics NSW don't offer anything to their gymnasts.
CONGRATULATIONS EMMA NEDOV

How many times is Jazminne going to change clubs.

Tiahn competed for Blackert Gymnastics Academy up until 2009 where she competed as a Level 7 Junior at National Clubs. Shortly after i'm pretty sure she was accepted into the AIS, then moved to westfields after the ais program shut down. She has come such a long way in shuch a short amount of time, so much talent.

But what can be done to help NSW programs ???

10:59, I wish I knew... :-( I think it has much to do with $$$.

Tiahn used to be at AIS, if I recall correctly. A few yeares back she was the 'biggest' (and I mean strongest/tallest/most-packed-for-punch muscle kid, not a 'fat' kid) next to these tiny tiny IDP kids.

She's now training at Westfields, where Valeri Kaladenzki went after the AIS closed down.

Power kid.

Did anyone catch any junior vids? I'd love to see some of Tiahn as i'd never really come across her before.

Nice article in the West Australian today on the 5 WAIS Seniors. Cute picture . Go Lauren and Em! Certainties it said with Ash, so only 2 spots left! Not going to be easy to pick em for Peggy. Last two I think will have to be high scorers. Bars and vault I would say since Lauren is not doing bars and maybe not a DTY.
