1 Day to Go: Carn the Wattle!

Are you getting excited yet? Mildly?

Well I am.

This news article features 'hero messages', including some from gymnastics fans AND a retiree - if you scroll down and look carefully, you'll see that Sydney Olympian Melinda Cleland has left a nice message for Alex Croak (who apparently was her athlete's village roommate at the time).

And if that doesn't make you go "awwww", then THIS excellent submission bloody well will:

Submit your photos before time runs out or this poor innocent child will cry. Right, B?

Who's the gorgeous child? Muahahaha... :)

LOVE the Aussie podium training leo. VERY classy and I'm still in shock from the lack of pink & purple so far. 2 new leos we've seen in green & gold (although the podium one is half black velvet). Stunning.

On a random note, Bergamelli (of Italy) has a different cut of Dasha's music. This has to be the most overused music of the quad... Also, for anyone wanting to watch NBC coverage, this is awesome for bypassing the USA-only restriction. http://www.anonymizer.com/consumer/products/trial/sss_trial.html

I don't understand why anyone would want to use music that is already taken, especially if 3 people are already using it! I wouldn't want to just because of the comparisons on who "interprets" the music better. Plus Dasha's routine has to be one of the most popular of the quad. Do Lozechko, Larson and Bergamelli think that nobody knows the music cos "some unknown gymnast from Austria or something" uses it?? Then again Shona used Sacramone's floor music at last year's worlds
