Go You Big Red Fire Engine 2009

Here 'tis.

Magnanimous thanks to everyone who took the time to send in a photo to support Australia's men's and women's gymnastics teams heading off the 2009 World Championships in London.

Additional thanks to Admiral Sir Doctor Adam Hills for his gracious permission to use the phrase that night I (nicely!) cornered him after a show in Flinders Lane.

I'm cutting the entry date short in order to be able to collate and mail off the pictures in time. So if these inspire you to send something in, please please do so by tomorrow (Saturday), 10am Melbourne/Sydney time.'s the name, support messages are the game.

Apologies for my re-sizing techniques completely messing up the quality!

(From Africa, no less!)

Aaaand yours truly, appropriately attired in red hat, from a gloriously messy spare room...

(I look a bit scary, anticipating the auto timer!)

Once again, these will be printed and forwarded to the necessary people who will then forward them to our teams. I will fix the quality, of course, before doing so. Thanks again for taking part (or getting your cats to take part) and showing your support in various creative ways!

To Georgia, Larrissa, Lauren, Shona, Phil, Prashanth, Sam1, Sam2, Josh and Luke... do us proud in London! Good luck and good health from all your fans back home and around the world!

My cat looks very cute if I don't say so myself.

And excuse me Meredith, you didn't tell me they were posted. I need to look here instead of just reading your twitter/fb!

Cool post as for me. I'd like to read something more about that theme. Thank you for giving this info.
